It's possible that the trade deadline in your league has already passed, but the vast majority of fantasy football leagues keep trading open until late into the season, usually after Thanksgiving.

As you prepare your team for the stretch run, perhaps you may want to consider finding the right guy at the right time for an affordable price. Conversely, you could be a team in a dynasty league just looking to give away a player in order to collect assets for the future.

We have you covered here with some players to consider in each of these instances.

Buy Low: David Montgomery, RB, Detroit Lions

I'm not sure how "low" you can get David Montgomery for right now, but there are many fantasy players who likely still prefer the more electric Jahmyr Gibbs. However, Montgomery is the guy in Detroit.

The reason why you may be able to get him for an affordable price right now is that he has failed to reach 100 yards on the ground in three of the Lions' last four games. He also doesn't contribute much of anything in the passing game.

But when the Lions have been at their best this season, the offense has been paced by the downhill running of Montgomery, who has nine touchdowns on the season. The Lions have been struggling a bit as of late and they are going to want to get back to their bread and butter heading into the postseason.

Look for Montgomery to become a big part of the gameplan going forward and for the Lions to feed him the ball.
