For some teams, this is a make-or-break week for their playoff hopes in fantasy football. Fortunately, there are a number of players who could be making their returns at just the right time. These are some news and notes from the past few days.

Deshaun Watson listed as questionable for Week 7

The last time Deshaun Watson was on the field he was having the best game of his 2023 season as he completed 27 of 33 passes for 289 passing yards with two touchdowns and no turnovers. Since that game, he has been dealing with a shoulder injury that has kept him out of the past three weeks (one of those weeks being a bye week).

However, Watson now looks to be on track to return on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts after being listed as questionable. He was able to get a limited practice in on Thursday before being a full participant on Friday.

This a great matchup to return for as the Colts have allowed seven passing touchdowns already this season and an average of 243.7 passing yards per game. Watson should finish this week as a Top 12 quarterback but is also good news for players like Amari Cooper and David Njoku.
